Degree in Medicine and Surgery at “Sapienza” University of Rome where she also became specialist in Anatomic Pathology. Director of the Pathology Unit at the University Hospital Campus Bio-Medico of Rome since 2014. National scientific qualification as Full Professor in 2018. She is member of international boards for guidelines in thyroid and endocrine pathology since the year 2005 (AACE; ETA, AIT, SIAPEC, AME). Special interest: biochemical profile of thyroid cancer and development of new diagnostic tools. H-index 30, documents 125, citations 4840, source Scopus. Current research: PI of a project Raman spectroscopy for thyroid cancer diagnosis granted by Italian Minister of Health.
