Andrea Frasoldati, MD, PhD

Reggio Emilia, Italy

Born in Modena, Italy on 20th November, 1962.
Graduated in Medicine at the University of Modena in 1987 and Specialized in Endocrinology (1990) and Internal Medicine (1995) at the University of Modena , dr. Frasoldati also earned a PhD in Physiopathology, Pharmacology and Therapy of Pain at the University of Milan (1994).
In 1995, dr. Frasoldati joined the Unit of Endocrinology at Reggio Emilia Hospital, under the guidance of dr. Roberto Valcavi. Here, He developed his expertise in neck ultrasonography (US) and US-guided diagnostic and interventional techniques applied to thyroid and parathyroid diseases.
In 2014 Dr. Frasoldati was appointed head of the Unit.
Among the clinical and scientific topics addressed by dr. Frasoldati: thyroid cancer, hyperparathyroidism, neuroendocrine tumors, US-guided interventional techniques .
