Kris Poppe MD, PhD, is an internist and adult endocrinologist. He is head of the endocrine unit and coordinator of the thyroid outpatient clinic and research unit at the University Hospital CHU St-Pierre, Brussels, Belgium. He is a scientific collaborator and lecturer at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). For more than 20 years, his research is focused on the relationship between thyroid disorders and pregnancy and more in particular on the associations between thyroid disorders and female infertility and the subsequent assisted reproductive technology treatment. He was (co)-author of guideline papers on thyroid and infertility and on the management of Graves’ disease.
