Petros Perros, BSc, MBBS, MD

Petros Perros is a consultant endocrinologist at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. He qualified from Newcastle University and trained in Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh. He has served as Member of British Thyroid Association steering Committee, Clinical convenor Society for Endocrinology / BTA Thyroid Network, Member of the Clinical Committee of the Society for Endocrinology, member Editorial Board of Clinical Endocrinology, lead of Society for Endocrinology Departmental Peer Review and President of European Group on Graves Orbitopathy He has edited the British Guidelines on thyroid cancer and co-authored European guidelines on Graves’ orbitopathy. His clinical and research interests include autoimmune thyroid disease, thyroid cancer and thyroid eye disease.
