Pierpaolo Trimboli, MD

Prof. Dr. med. Pierpaolo Trimboli achieved the Post Graduation in Endocrinology at the Endocrinology School of Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). Later, he worked at Ospedale Israelitico of Rome and in 2016 he moved to the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale of Lugano (Switzerland). There, he initially was consultant at the institutional Thyroid Center, and, since 2020 he has served as senior consultant of the Clinic for Endocrinology and Diabetology of Regional Hospital of Lugano. His main tasks include thyroid cancers, goiter, thyroid biopsy, non-surgical treatment of benign thyroid nodules. In this field he has published more than one-hundred-fifty articles in the most important international journals.
